Barcelona -- Un Dia de Museos

After we walked around La Rambla and by the harbor front, Rose and I wanted to go into a few museums.
We bought a Barcelona pass for 5 days that got us free transportation and let us in free for most museums, as well as 15 or 20 percent off for some restaurants and bars. If they had 20 percent off of gelato and ice cream shops, then we'd definitely be getting our money's worth.

Guess which museum we went in first.

The Erotic Museum.

It was free and we got a free glass of wine! (It was a dixie cup of wine... they keep it classy at the Erotic Museum)

We then walked to Museu de la Xocolata, also known as the Museum of Chocolate.

Our ticket was a bar of dark chocolate!

We saw La Sagrada Familia in person, and now in a chocolate replica! I think someone was hungry and ate one of the spires.

The last museum we stopped at was the Picasso Museum!

Photographs weren't allowed in the museum (those words can break a photographer's heart, I tell you), but because Pablo Picasso was such a famous and influential painter and sculptor, my next blog post is dedicated to him.
