Days 76 - 90

Day 76 -- April 16, 2012
Rose and I went to see Legally Blonde: The Musical tonight! We had so much fun. We paid 16 euro for tickets and got amazing seats -- you can't beat that.

Day 77 -- April 17, 2012
My passport and visa. Fun fact: that little visa card? It cost me $200!
I only use these for when I leave or enter the country, and it's always fun to look through the stamps in my passport.
Also, the real picture of myself is terrible. I couldn't help myself haha.

Day 78 -- April 18, 2012
This is where I have my Global Communication class. Yes, they have chalkboards at DCU!

Day 79 -- April 19, 2012
Rose and I have seen this black and white cat for the last week or so walking across the ledge by our windows, and every time we do we try to lure it near us... even though our windows are on the second floor haha. We just want a friend and we're crazy about cats!

Day 80 -- April 20, 2012
April is "Hell Month" according to DCU students. I only have four classes so writing papers and taking exams won't be that hard... but that doesn't stop me from buying wine, to take away the stress of school or to celebrate ;)

Day 81 -- April 21, 2012
First thing I love about Dublin -- The Spire and all the statues on O'Connell Street.

Day 82 -- April 22, 2012
Second thing I love about Dublin -- How cars drive on the opposite side of the road here, between old, brick buildings.

Day 83 -- April 23, 2012
Third thing I love about Dublin -- The beautiful River Liffey that cuts the city in half. Every bridge that crosses over the river is different.

Day 84 -- April 24, 2012
Fourth thing I love about Dublin -- I love all the parks scattered around the city and how everything is so green!

Day 85 -- April 25, 2012
Fifth thing I love about Dublin -- The doors! Every front door in Dublin is completely different.

Day 86 -- April 26, 2012
This is the famous Famine Memorial, sculpted by Rowan Gillespie, and is located on the north side of the River Liffey.
It is dedicated to the Irish people who were forced to emigrate due to the famine in the 19th century.

Day 87 -- April 27, 2012
This is the Samuel Beckett Bridge, dedicated to the Irish playwright, poet and novelist Samuel Beckett.
Rose and I think this bridge looks like a harp.

Day 88 -- April 28, 2012
Rose and I went to Krakow, Poland today!
This is what most of the city looks like. It seemed a little run down, with graffiti on the walls and holes in the sides of buildings, but it was so beautiful.

Day 89 -- April 29, 2012
This is the Vistula River, which cuts through Krakow, as well as the capital of Poland, Warsaw. It is the longest river in Poland.

Day 90 -- April 30, 2012
Today we went to Auschwitz and Birkenau, two of the largest German concentration camps in Poland.
It was a very grim, depressing day, but I'm so glad we got to see these incredible historical places.
