The real Book of Kells

You may be surprised to know that I did not write the real Book of Kells.

I know, what you're thinking. I am such a good writer and illustrator *cough sarcasm cough*, but I am definitely not 1200 years old, which is how old the Book of Kells is.

Here is a little introduction about the Book of Kells!

The Book of Kells is an illustrated manuscript book containing the four Gospels of the New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke and the first 17 chapters of the Gospel of John. The Book of Kells was never finished, although the rest of the Gospel could be missing, as the book was stolen in the early 11th century. It is written in Latin and decorated with colorful, intricate designs on them. Columban monks produced this book around the year 800.
It was bound into four volumes in 1953 and is held at Trinity College in Dublin. Its previous home was in Kells, in County Meath.

Here I am standing at the entrance to the exhibition, museum and the Old Library.

Pictures are not allowed when viewing the Book of Kells or the Old Library, but here is another one of the book that I snatched off the Internet.

And this is the Old Library.
